Registration

When will registration open? What are the registration rates?
Registration is open! Registration rates can be found on the Event Information page, by expanding the different types of attendees.

What does my registration fee include?
Full conference registration fees include access to all learning activities Sunday through Wednesday and admission to the Exhibitor & Networking areas. Meals included are: Sunday evening Welcome Reception, breakfast on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, lunch Monday and Tuesday, and beverage breaks on Sunday through Wednesday. The Full-Day Pre-Conference includes Breakfast and Lunch. Half day includes a beverage break on Sunday and both pre-conferences include the Welcome Reception that evening whether or not you are attending the rest of the conference.

Will I receive a confirmation of my registration?
A confirmation of your registration will be sent to you via email immediately upon registering on-line or via phone. The confirmation will come from the email address registration@sitesolutionsworldwide.com, so please add this address to your "safe list." For registrations made with payment by check, please allow two weeks for processing; confirmation of registration will be sent via email immediately upon processing. If you do not receive confirmation after 30 days, please do not hesitate to contact our registration office at 866-374-6338.

Will I be refunded if I have to cancel my registration?
We understand that things happen so if you simply can't attend, please notify us in writing by July 7, 2010. Refunds will be processed less a $25 administrative fee. No refunds will be made after July 7, 2010 or for no-shows. Cancellations must be submitted via email to registration@sitesolutionsworldwide.com, via fax to 518-399-5140, or via mail to:

The National Advocacy Campaign Event is a fundraising event, and therefore we are unable to refund tickets purchased. However, tickets are fully transferrable.

Substitutions may be made at any time. If you are unable to attend but someone else from your organization can come in your place, please notify us in writing via email at registration@sitesolutionsworldwide.com.

I am a member of the press – do you have press registration?
SAAS & NIATx welcome professional editorial staff (including photographers and camera crews) of print, online, and broadcast media at most of their conference or summit activities. Complimentary registrations are extended to the "working media" with the same amenities as other full-price registrants. Other publication staff (non-editorial positions, such as advertising directors and advertising representatives) may attend only as part of exhibitor staff and must pay the full registration fees. Who can attend the Annual Conference & Summit?
The Annual Conference & Summit is open to all human service professionals, government employees, higher education educators, and business service vendors interested in networking with the behavioral healthcare field.

What is the dress code?
We want you to be comfortable so you can enjoy your conference experience! Therefore, business casual dress is strongly encouraged. We suggest bringing a light sweater or jacket with you during the day as meeting rooms are air conditioned.

Will all conference programming be held at the Duke Energy Convention Center?
The majority of programming will be held at the Convention Center unless otherwise noted. Locations for all events not being held at the Center will be noted in the schedule of activities. The Hilton hotel will host our Open Mic Night on Monday evening and the Freedom Center will be the venue for the National Advocacy Campaign.

Are there any tours of Cincinnati available?
Yes, there many options for all interests available online at www.cincyusa.com/attractions. Attractions, Heritage, Culture, Sporting Events, and the Arts (not to mention the famous Cincinnati-Style Chili), these are just some of the reasons to explore Cincinnati before or after the conference. How can I become a speaker at a future Annual Conference & Summit?
At this time, the program at the 2010 Annual Meeting is finalized. Proposals were due by December 1, 2009 – we're sorry you missed this deadline. However, we encourage you to submit a session proposal for the 2011 meeting. This will open in Q4 2010. Please watch our website for more information on the 2011 Annual Conference & Summit.

How many CEU or contact hours will I earn by attending the Annual Conference & Summit?
Attendees may earn up to 12 contact hours by attending the 2010 meeting. 1 hour of education = 1 contact hour. An additional 3.5 or 7 hours are available by adding a pre-conference session. A workshop or program must be a minimum of one hour in length. Time devoted to announcements, welcoming speeches, scheduled coffee breaks, lunch, and other social events is not included in the number of hours considered. Credit is usually given at 50% of the allotted time for an educational program connected with a meal function.

To earn your CEUs through one of the 3 below, you will need to submit two forms and sign in at each workshop you attend.

  • National Association of Social Workers (NASW)
  • National Association of Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC)
  • International Certification & Reciprocity Consortium (IC&RC)

Please contact your state's certification board for more information on your unique requirements for certification and recertification. After the conference sessions have been reviewed by each credentialing body more information may become available here.

Will transportation be provided during the conference?
The Convention Center is within a 1.5 block walk from the Hilton and is attached to the Millennium Hotel. Complimentary transportation will be provided to the Convention Center from the Hilton for guests with physical disabilities. For our guests with disabilities that will be joining us for the National Advocacy Campaign event who require accessible transportation, please contact our conference coordinator at megan@sitesolutionsworldwide.com.

Ground transportation between the airport and hotels is NOT provided on a complimentary basis. Information on airport shuttles, taxi cabs and rental cars can be found on the Hotel and Travel page.

I am bringing my family with me; will there be activities for them to enjoy?
Family and friends will enjoy Cincinnati – so invite them to join you! A special guest registration price of $99 (Children age 15 or under cost $40) is available with your full conference registration. It includes the Sunday evening Welcome Reception, and Monday night Open Mic Night. Please note that guests are those individuals who are not in or sell to the human service workforce. Passes to the National Advocacy Campaign event are additional for both adult and child guests.

When will iAward recipients be recognized?
All recognition will be made during the Lunch General Session on Monday, July 12. Congratulations to the recipients!
